The U.S. Department of Labor’s National Grants Office announced that Idaho’s disability program navigator team is receiving nearly $400,000 that will be combined with $134,000 from the federal stimulus package to keep the initiative going through June 2010.

The money, from the economic stimulus package, will provide direct payments to companies in lieu of tax credits to support an estimated 5,000 bio-mass, solar, wind and other renewable energy production facilities.
- World's largest solar plant may be built in Cle Elum, Washington
Teanaway Solar Reserve hopes to gain approval from Kittitas County to build a 75 megawatt plant, made up of 400,000 photovoltaic panels. The energy produced would be enough for 45,000 homes, said Howard Trott, the Kirkland man who heads the operation.
