With the ongoing deliberations about education in Montana, it was a pleasure to receive information about 4 individuals who are contributing directly to the success Montana's future leaders. MATR salutes Rob and Terry Ryan, Don Valentine and Earl Dobbs for their contributions and efforts to improve the opportunities available to our education system and the children who deserve our very best. UM and the Ravalli County-based Bitterroot Valley Community College Exploratory Committee have each drawn up a separate set of plans for a new campus. Both organizations agree that the expanding Bitterroot Valley needs better access to higher education.
