I had the pleasure of attending the Washington State Governor's Economic & Workforce Development Conference in Vancouver last week. Lots of innovative ideas and examples of success in building a globally competitive economy. Gov. Gregoire presented her vision for the "Next Washington" which is outstanding. I especially find it great because the anchor for the future of Washington State is education and as you've heard me say it over and over... "The State with the Best Education Wins!"
