TechLink – Major DoD Licensing Economic Impact Study Completed

Value added was estimated at $23.9 billion, representing new wealth creation. Estimated employment impacts included 182,985 jobs with an average wage of $71,337.

Will Swearingen, PhD, and Ray Friesenhahn of TechLink were given "Champion of Small Business Innovation" awards by the Small Business Technology Council in Washington DC.

Swearingen and Friesenhahn were the principal authors of a major economic impact study of the Air Force SBIR program, the first-ever comprehensive economic impact study of any federal SBIR program.
