I’m pleased to announce that we are starting a Denver chapter of the Montana Ambassadors led by Jim Driscoll and Matt Clark.  The event will be on October 16th (invite to go out soon) and will have Paul Green as the key-note.  Our idea is to replicate what we have done in Seattle over the past 20 years, creating a community that can engage key Denver stakeholders in Montana’s economic future.

Battle of the Plans Business Pitch Competition.  – Billings Businesses Battle for Prize Packages worth $50k on August 15

21 entrepreneurs submitted their concepts for new or improving businesses in the Billings Central District.  Two phases in March and July included business training courses from the Big Sky Economic Development, and after these preliminary rounds, the party of 21 has been whittled down to the final 12.
