The Montana Women’s Business Center is pleased to announce $18,000 of the funds raised at the 2021 Prosperity Party fundraiser will go directly to helping Montana’s women business owners.

56Strong: Montana Women’s Mentorship Program – The Montana Women’s Business Center at Prospera Business Network

The program will run for six months with a virtual kick-off meeting in January and a virtual conclusion meeting in June. The expectation is that mentors and mentees will meet monthly for about one-hour between February and June. The meeting times and days will be set by the mentors and mentees.

Our goal is to not only empower women entrepreneurs and business owners but to bridge the gap between urban and rural communities. Business resources are not the same in each county and by connecting women from all 56 counties we can be a catalyst to propel their business, create new jobs, and gain access to capital.”

Grants are available for Montana Main Street member communities for comprehensive revitalization projects; this includes planning activities like a downtown master plan and project activities like seed money to implement a façade improvement program.

Request for Proposals 56Strong Program Facilitator Nine Month contract

The contractor will serve as the lead facilitator and coordinator for
planning and implementing this new state-wide program. The ideal candidate would be
considered warm, welcoming, and a connector.
