Elite cadre of MAPS students make up new production group

Rosten said their goal for MAPS Productions is to be able to employ students before and/or after their college experience.

The Nonprofit Leadership Student Association (NLSA) at the University of Montana is looking for the opportunity to help a local nonprofit with a specific concern they currently face.

Each year we partner with a local nonprofit and provide our skills and knowledge free of cost in order to better that nonprofit in any way we can. We have a dedicated group of students who will soon be Certified Nonprofit Professionals and are eager to apply their expertise to benefit a nonprofit and the community.

MAPS to produce promotional film for Bitterroot Youth Home

"Working with MAPS seems like a natural fit because it encourages kids to help other kids. Not only have the MAPS students gained an understanding of what some of their peers are going through, but the project has also sparked an interest in filmmaking among our kids," said Laura Henning, Bitterroot Youth Home development coordinator.

Missoula Children’s Theater to Receive Montana Ambassador Award from Gov. Bullock

The Missoula Children’s Theater was nominated for the award for promoting Montana on a global basis for over 40 years. During that time, it has performed in every state in the U.S. and on U.S. military bases around the world, as it works to develop life skills in children and spread the goodwill of Montana around the world.

Funding Available For Montana Projects to support historical research, creative writing and wilderness studies projects that explore Montana’s land and people.

Projects should encourage mindful stewardship of the land and contribute to the preservation of Montana’s heritage. Proposals from individuals will take precedence over those from institutions. The endowment committee recommends projects that can be completed in one year.
