This is the fifth year of the music festival which benefits the Red Ants Pants Foundation, a nonprofit organization in support of women’s leadership, working farms and ranches, and rural communities.

Blue Sky Stewardship works to cultivate our community’s relationship with food by coordinating food growing projects and educational workshops for Missoula.

The festival, held in a cow pasture on the Jackson Ranches surrounded by mountains, has been steadily growing in popularity and drew 11,000 attendees last year.

Our overall population of farmers is aging rapidly and we need to be replenishing that pool with young people if we want Montana to remain an agricultural state.

Holy Cow Ranches is headquartered in Challis, Idaho but is kicking off their operations in the Gallatin Valley this Sunday.
