Iceland leaders coming to Montana next month at Tester’s request. Iceland interested in state’s geothermal energy resources
Today Tester and his colleagues on the Senate Energy Committee heard expert testimony on the measure, which sets a goal for the U.S. to draw 20% of its energy from geothermal resources by the year 2030.
Urban Institute aims at Billings’ next step
The event at the downtown campus included participation by about 50 Billings business, civic and political leaders. Called a "smart communities" seminar, it was not only a brainstorming session but an opportunity to begin prioritizing issues that will help Billings thrive in the future, said Chuck Tooley, director of the Urban Institute.

A man who tuned a hotel’s piano as a contractor and cited privacy in refusing to provide his Social Security number does not have to release it and must be paid, a judge has ruled.
