Montana World Affairs Council: Council in the Classroom Programs are free to Montana High School students. You can connect virtually to these programs by using video conferencing equipment or a desktop/laptop connected to a projector.

Join us for this exciting luncheon as Ambassador Mirpuri discusses Singapore’s perspective on U.S. economic involvement in the Asia-Pacific region and how events occurring on the other side of the world affect Montanans.

Ambassador Ashok Mirpuri is a career diplomat, joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1984 before becoming the Director of Policy Planning and Analysis Directorate 1.

The population growth will be concentrated in the countries and regions least prepared to deal with the multi-faceted challenges their populations will present.

The film looks into the challenges faced by American diplomats, such as preventing war, promoting economic interests, and addressing global issues.

The Montana World Affairs Council welcomes Alex and is excited about the dynamic background that she brings to the Council.

March 3rd, Bob will be talking with Mehrdad Kia, Professor of History at the University of Montana and Director of the Central and Southwest Asian Studies Center.

The Montana World Affairs Council’s http://www.montanaworldaffairs.org/ Academic WorldQuest competition, now in its 12th year, brought more than 50 teams of high school students from across the state to the University of Montana campus Tuesday.

Montana’s Academic WorldQuest is the third largest in the country.
