Montana State University architecture students help design school at the top of the world in cooperation with the Alex Lowe Charitable Foundation.

The group is planning to build a school at 13,000 ft. elevation in the Himalayas in one of the most remote locations on earth.

A 50-foot conversation-starter: Montana State University installs wind turbine on campus

The turbine is part of the Montana Wind for Schools program, which will install four similar turbines at schools in Cascade, Fairfield, Livingston and Stanford in the coming weeks. Students will use the turbines in lessons about alternative energy.
