This MWAC “signature” fundraiser is a team trivia competition like no other. Modeled after our Academic WorldQuest competition, teams of community supporters vie to test their knowledge on global events. 4) NeighborWorks Great Falls and Great Falls Public Schools held the groundbreaking event for the 47th High School House in Great Falls. There are 30 student builders in the class this year. The home will be finished in spring of 2025.

Missoula early literacy programs get added capacity as new school year starts

Early literacy is free and runs during the regular MCPS school year. A survey sent out by United Way found a need for more early education in Missoula. The survey found less than half of the city’s young children arrive fully prepared for kindergarten. Kindergarten readiness is a key indicator of long-term outcomes in education, health and income.

Changes to state contracts with childcare service providers provoke concern, and cuts
