The plan calls for diversifying the local economy and seeking higher paying jobs, maintaining Bozeman’s quality of life and education, improving affordable housing for employees and supporting existing local businesses.

The plan offers a broad vision, an overarching guide and road map that helps government officials, property owners, business owners and the public understand the general direction Missoula is heading.

“The plan isn’t something that is going to dictate what buildings go where,” McCarthy said. “It’s a fluid document. It’s a document that helps us look to the future.”

Montana Business Leaders for Clean Energy are united in their support for building clean-energy industries and jobs in Montana.

To address the widespread need for family doctors, Montana must train its own. That was the idea behind establishing the Montana Family Medicine Residency more than a decade ago.

The tenth international Wild Trout Symposium will be held next year, Monday through Thursday, September 27-30, 2010, at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort and Conference Center in West Yellowstone, adjacent to the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park.

“Had Montana Community Development Corp. not been able to get these tax credits for Montana last fall,” said Gary Chumrau, Garlington, Lohn & Robinson managing partner, “this would have never gone forward.”

some great training opportunities for small businesses and lenders/resource partners.
