The Montana Office of Tourism in partnership with the Montana Main Street Program and MSU Extension’s Community Development Program is inviting communities who want to explore their potential for strengthening tourism as an economic and community development tool to apply to be a pilot project assisting in the development of the Montana Tourism Assessment and Planning Program (MTAPP).

With a firm belief that the natural splendors of northwest Montana are the area’s biggest economic driver, the National Parks Conservation Association is joining with several local groups to sponsor a day-long forum here Friday exploring community and economic development, job creation and entrepreneurial marketing.

The Montana SBDC Network is requesting proposals for breakout sessions at the Invest in Success conference on April 24.

We propose to undertake a study to determine the feasibility of establishing the first regional "technology center" in Sanders County that would include rentable space for existing small businesses or mobile workers, incubator space for entrepreneurs, a training/conference room, space for pilot projects and offices for permanent staff and temporary residents.
