Commerce and AccelerateMT Certify 13 Native Citizens as Production Assistants through Training Program

“Since our partnership with AccelerateMT started in August, 13 tribal citizens have completed the course and are now certified PAs ready to work behind the scenes in film, commercials, live theater and concert productions. Additionally, knowledge gained through the training can be transferable and marketable skills for all who complete the course.”

Montana State receives $26.7 million grant for facility to test and promote quantum technology

The 20-month grant from the Air Force Research Laboratory in Rome, New York, will support MSU’s Applied Quantum CORE facility, to be located at the MSU Innovation Campus within the INDUSTRY Bozeman building, which is currently under construction. The grant funding will purchase equipment to test prototype quantum components in the extremely cold environments in which they operate.

Montana announces $3M in federal funds to help childcare workers get care for their kids

According to the state, those workers who are eligible will have childcare copays capped at $100 a month and would be eligible for the program for 12 months. Providers would be paid if the child attends the care facility at least one day a month.
