Flathead Valley Community College

The 1st Shift Program is for individuals who are interested in shifting into the healthcare industry and who want to learn more about the career options and associated training.

A place where the community can gather for major events, where students can have nearly every need met without stepping foot outside the campus and where the future leaders of Kalispell can grow without leaving home.

So far several families and individuals have contributed millions of dollars to the efforts. The combined total of those donations is $16 million.

"Education has always been an important part of our family activities," Jim Hollensteiner said. "We have followed the evolution of Flathead Valley Community College from year one."

The Flathead Valley Chapter of SHRM is a SHRM Preferred Provider and a local human resource organization working to "serve the professional and advance the profession."

FVCC’s annual Mansfield Lecture seeks to promote a spirit of inclusivity and collaboration.

"The Enhancement Grants provide funding to faculty and staff to create new educational partnerships, elevate the student experience and develop new ways of teaching and learning," said Foundation Executive Director Colleen Unterreiner. "We are grateful to the donors who make these opportunities possible."
