East Missoula People’s Fair: Home. Health. Humanity – 11/16 – East Missoula

E-Mo has also become a pretty great example for community organizing and mutual aid, and the upcoming East Missoula People’s Fair is the perfect encapsulation of the community’s character. The Saturday event is being held at Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore, a donation warehouse where they keep the costs low for people in need.

Housing is subject of Nov. 18-19 Wheeler Center conference in Bozeman with Missoula Mayor Andrea Davis

The conference will kick off at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, with a keynote address by Missoula Mayor Andrea Davis, “Common-Sense Solutions: Perspective from the Frontlines of Montana’s Housing Crisis.”

Montana’s EconoQuest 2024 Impact – The Montana World Affairs Council

The current Code Reform is a once-in-a-generation chance to enhance equity and affordability, introduce desirable amenities like neighborhood coffee shops, and preserve our open spaces for hiking, fishing, and other recreational activities.

Missoula releases draft of land use plan to guide growth over the next 20 years 

The planning board will hold a public hearing on the draft plan on Nov. 19. The City Council will consider it for adoption in December. Work on the unified development code updates will continue into the spring.
