We live in Montana for the high quality of life that’s connected to the outdoors, and this fall you have a unique opportunity to both contribute to climate solutions, while creating new, good jobs and protecting Montana’s $7.1 billion outdoor economy. I ask that you think of the 98% of Montanans who say outdoor recreation is important to their quality of life when it comes time to support climate provisions during the budget reconciliation process. Our way of life is counting on you.

SBA recognition to help Early Stage Montana grow tech sector, expand reach

Jenni Graff, executive director of Early Stage Montana, said recognition by the SBA will include $50,000 to help the nonprofit expand its reach. The prizes are awarded to accelerator programs working with fledgling companies in areas of research and development, and STEM.

Biotech company Novoron to open Missoula branch in pursuit of cure for spinal injuries

Dr. Travis Stiles, president and CEO of Novoron, described the company as a biotech firm that spun out of the University of California-San Diego. The company is working on ways to regenerate nerves in the spinal cord and treat other disorders in the central nervous system.
