The Butte Team “59701 Nano Innovations” has been selected as a winner in Stage ! of the DOE NREL CABLE Prize Competition and will participate in the following stages with an opportunity to win a share of the $4 Million Dollar Prize.

SBA recognition to help Early Stage Montana grow tech sector, expand reach

Jenni Graff, executive director of Early Stage Montana, said recognition by the SBA will include $50,000 to help the nonprofit expand its reach. The prizes are awarded to accelerator programs working with fledgling companies in areas of research and development, and STEM.

The free program is offered by Early Stage Montana, a nonprofit organization that works with a broad group of organizations and corporations across Montana, including the 406 Labs and Blackstone LaunchPad at MSU, to accelerate the growth of the tech ecosystem in Montana.

High school students across South Dakota are invited to compete in this business idea competition where nearly $35,000 in cash and scholarships are awarded.

Boise Entrepreneur Week is coming up October 18 through the 22 and any Idahoan with an idea is invited to participate. Now in its sixth year, there are several different categories participants can enter including, the main pitch competition, Trailmix, Youth Innovation Challenge, BSU Hacking for Home Building, and BSU Cybersecurity Entrepreneur Challenge.
