Wyoming ranks #4 for net growth in US migration study

Wyoming Tetons

A new study puts Wyoming as the No. 4 most popular place to move to or remain in for 2018, contradicting in some ways previous state-compiled data that stated Wyoming had a net decrease in population from July 2017 to July 2018.

The 2019 Migration Study was conducted by HireAHelper, a nationwide moving company with locations in 48 states. It’s being heralded as a first of its kind analyzation and a deeper dive into migration within the US.

And where are we heading to? Idaho (84.38%), Montana (82.35%), and Vermont (64.29%) top the list ahead of Wyoming for net migration gains.
