The Montana BioScience Alliance – Montana researchers make discoveries used in new products

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

Despite its small population, Montana has become a contender in bioscience, an industry that usually thrives in states with many more people.

That’s the message the Montana BioScience Alliance http://www.montanabio.org/ wants to send.

The term bioscience covers every thing from human to animal and plant biology. Not only does the alliance want everyone in the state to know how much bioscience research is going on here, it wants to draw attention from outside Montana’s borders.
