Student business competition opens at the University of Utah

The Utah Entrepreneur Challenge will kick off its statewide business competition for college students today at the University of Utah. The David Eccles School of Business and its Utah Entrepreneur Center will host speaker Charles Coonradt, chief executive of The Game of Work LLC, at 6 p.m. in the J. Willard Marriott Library Gould Auditorium.

Students, who may partner with local businesses as mentors, are encouraged to submit an executive summary of a business plan by Feb. 4. Visit http://www.uechallenge.com for more information.
