The leadership of the upcoming Montana legislative session has refused to follow local public health guidelines while they are in session this winter.

Instead, they chose to allow legislators, lobbyists, citizens and others to meet in person inside the capitol building without masks or social distancing, flaunting the state and local public health rules our community has worked hard to observe.

Their decisions directly threaten the health of our families, friends, neighbors, and frontline workers—our entire community—as the spread of COVID-19 grows out of control this winter in Helena and Montana.
