New Paper Outlines Five Elements for Manufacturing Productivity

Rising manufacturing productivity is critical to the developing world and an essential element of policy making. A paper by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development describes establishing the most reliable analysis of manufacturing productivity and helping policy makers create priorities to address productivity issues. The paper demonstrates that productivity rests on five elements of the economy: infrastructure, capital, trade, education and aggregate efficiency.
