MSU Leadership Institute Hosts White House Project, 10/20, Bozeman, Montana

On Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm, ASMSU and the MSU Leadership Institute will host The White House Project, http://thewhitehouseproject.org, a workshop designed to help women emerge as active leaders in business and politics up to the U.S. presidency. It is dedicated to coaching and inspiring women to become new leaders in society and to diversify the workplace among all disciplines.

Students and the general public will be able to participate in leadership workshops that will teach the ambition and creativity necessary for successful leadership and also see why women are critical in effective leadership. Katie Groke Ellis, the Program Manager for The White House Project, will keynote the event and also moderate a discussion panel of leading women in business, politics, nonprofits and academics.

The workshop is open to all and costs $5. A registration form may be obtained by visiting ASMSU, MSU AskUs Desk or the MSU Leadership Institute, which are located in MSU’s Strand Union Building. Registration is also available online at montana.edu/leadership. Registration forms must be postmarked by Monday, October 18th, as seating is limited. The fee includes a complimentary lunch, all materials, and and all access pass to the White House Project website.

This event will be held in the Strand Union Ballrooms and is sponsored by MSU Office of the President, ASMSU, MSU Leadership Institute, MSU Office of the Provost, College of Letters and Science, College of Agriculture, College of Business, Vice President for Student Success, Diversity Awareness Office, MSU Alumni Association, ASMSU Campus Entertainment, College of Engineering/EMPower, College of Nursing, Women’s Center, and the Honors Department.
