Montana State University selects Jason Carter as new vice president of research

Montana State University announced today that it has chosen Jason Carter to be its new vice president of research, economic development and graduate education.
Carter, currently the associate vice president for research at Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan, was chosen after a national search. He will begin his duties at MSU on Sept. 3.
Carter will oversee the state’s largest research enterprise with more than $130 million in annual expenditures.
