Montana Secretary Of State to "ARM" the Web

Secretary of State Bob Brown announced that the
Administrative Rules of Montana (ARM) are now available on the web in a
fully searchable format.

"Our office worked hard to develop a user-friendly, online version of
the
administrative rules," said Brown. "Access to the rules is more
convenient
than it has ever been."

Administrative rules are the "how to" details of implementing laws
passed by
the legislature. ARM on the Web is nearly identical to the official
hard
copy version of the administrative rules, including charts, maps,
images,
links to forms and cross-referencing links to the MCA.

"ARM on the Web is a great research tool," Brown said. "Now customers
have
the option of searching the rules from home or office with a few mouse
clicks versus traveling to a location that has the hard copy version of
the
rules and looking through the hard copy binders."

This online service from the secretary of state is offered in addition
to
the hard copy ARM binders, both of which will be updated on a quarterly
basis.

ARM on the Web can be found by clicking a link on the secretary of
state’s
home page at http://sos.state.mt.us/, or go directly to
