Botanie Soap began as a small-scale operation when founder Tim Ludicello and his wife Lindsay started making soap in their kitchen to sell at the local farmer’s market.


Their operation expanded to include a handful of retail accounts, and their manufacturing capacity grew. Believing that handmade methods and related formulations produce a higher quality product than conventional manufacturing processes, Tim sought methods for standardizing those methods and formulations.
