LLCDC hiring Cooperative Development Program Coordinator

Are you interested in building equitable and strong local economies in rural communities? If so, Cooperative Development might be for you! The Cooperative Development Center at Lake County Community Development is now hiring a Program Coordinator.

Summary: The Cooperative Development Center at Lake County Community Development Corporation (LCCDC) brings resources, education and technical assistance to existing and developing cooperatives. A cooperative is a democratically governed business owned by and operated for the benefit of the people who use its products and services. The Cooperative Development Center has primarily worked with agricultural cooperatives to develop the regional food economy but is expanding to work with other cooperative models, such as housing, childcare, investment, and worker-owned. The Program Coordinator is primarily responsible for providing support to Cooperative Development Center programs through event planning, outreach, marketing and promotion, and program coordination. Additional responsibilities include data collection and tracking for reporting and providing support to the organization?s overall goals and objectives.
