The program will increase participants understanding of what drives Minnesota’s economy and provide an inside view of the state’s key industries. From the traditional industries that built Minnesota, such as timber, mining and agriculture, to the new economy of telecommunications, health care and technology, participants will have a hands-on, in-depth exposure to the economic climate of our state. They will also learn how to become active within the political process and how to positively impact the business environment in Minnesota.

Leadership Minnesota seeks individuals with a past record of success in business and community. Applicants must demonstrate a strong concern for the future of business in Minnesota and a personal commitment to help shape that future. The selection committee will seek a diverse group representative of the different industries in Minnesota.
