Idaho Career Opportunity – Economic Development Specialist/Assistant Planner – City Of Preston

Duties will be split 50/50 between classifications.

This is a new position with the City Of Preston.

Duties would include but are not limited to:

– Prospect and attract new businesses and industry to locate in Preston City.

– Assisting the City Engineer with Planning and Zoning, building permits and other duties the engineer requires.
Qualifications could include: bachelor’s degree in economic development, urban planning, marketing, business administration or public administration. Experience in marketing, sales and city planning could be considered in lieu of a degree.

AICP certificate desirable but not mandatory. Autocad experience a plus. Recent college graduates will be considered. A winning personality is a must. Salary based on education and experience. This is a full-time, benefited position.
