Great Falls area poised to grow Great Falls Development Authority’s Doney, Thayer cite progress on several fronts

Great Falls will have all the economic tools in place and be poised for good growth in 2013 and going forward, said businessman Gene Thayer, board chairman of the Great Falls Development Authority .

"I’m really excited about the team of specialists we have here with the GFDA, proud of the fact that our public agency and private partners are all working together and tickled at all the economic opportunities for the Great Falls region," GFDA President Brett Doney added.

The pair elaborated on the area’s economic prospects and behind-the-scenes efforts in an end of the year Tribune interview. They cited key state work force training and grant programs, partners ready to help recruit and help out new businesses and the soon-to-developed, rail-served GFDA AgriTech industrial park.
