Free Sustainable Business Workshop, 3/19, Missoula, Montana

The Crown of the Continent Geotourism Council, Montana Office of Tourism, Montana Department of Environmental Quality, and Glacier Country Regional Tourism Commission invite all area businesses and organizations to attend a sustainable business workshop at the Missoula International Airport Main Terminal Conference Room, 5225 Highway 10 West, Missoula on Monday, March 19th from 9:00 a.m. to noon and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The workshop is free of charge to all participants.  Please pre-register by contacting Dylan Boyle, Crown of the Continent Geotourism Coordinator, at 406.730.2658 or [email protected].

Both sessions are led by the Yellowstone Business Partnership’s Sustainability Program Manager Heather Higinbotham, who oversees the UnCommon Sense Business Leadership Program. UnCommon Sense is a two-year program that uses education and peer-support to enable business owners and staff to make desired changes to their operations, save money, and empower them to become sustainability leaders in their communities and industry sections. The morning session will cover responsible purchasing and the afternoon session focuses on waste management. Although attendance at both is suggested, the content is unique to each individual session.
