Folks – This is not the year to visit Glacier National Park

You would be wasting your time and money. You can’t access the east-side. This includes East Glacier, Saint Mary, Babb, Chief Mountain. You can’t get to Waterton, as the border is closed to Canada. The Glacier boat company is closed for the year. Most Hotels are closed or have reduced services. You can wait in a line that will backed up onto Hwy 2 just to enter. You will find there is no parking, no gas,and most campgrounds closed. Fish creek campground is open but you need reservations. You CANNOT drive in the west side and exit the east side, you will be turned around at Rising Sun. It’s not the year to visit. Glacier is great, but when its barely open, and over crowded its a mess.
