Enventure Northwest Boot Camp

July 14, 2004

Victoria, British Columbia

What is the EnVenture Northwest Boot Camp?

EnVenture Northwest is a semi-annual venture event that will give energy technology companies in the Pacific Region the opportunity to present to the region’s energy venture firms. This event starts with a bootcamp to tune-up potential venture capital presenters. The first EnVenture Northwest events featuring presentations to regional energy venture capital firms will be scheduled for winter 2004.

We encourage those companies that wish to present at the winter event to participate in the EnVenture Northwest Boot Camp on July 14, 2004.

Who should attend?

Early to mid-state energy technology companies that will benefit in receiving valuable advice from experienced investors based in the Pacific Northwest. This event will be a prime opportunity to gain visibility in a venture capital arena and to be able to network with industry and venture contacts.

What is the format for the July 14 Boot Camp?

The Enventure Northwest Boot Camp is divided into two parts:

Part 1: The Venture Workshop — The EnVenture Northwest Boot Camp begins with a valuable workshop for companies wishing to learn more on how to present to venture firms. Panelists representing energy venture firms in the Pacific Region will help companies strengthen their presentations to potential investors.

Part 2: Breakout Company Presentations — Participating companies will give a 10-minute presentation to the venture capital experts. The presentations will be video-taped. After each presentation, experts will complete a personal evaluation of the presentation for the company
