EEOC Official Coming To Billings To Meet With Montana Employers- 6/3 Billings

Jeannette Leino, director of the Seattle and Denver
district offices of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, will be in
Billings on Thursday, June 3, 2004, to conduct a workshop for employers on
the Americans with Disabilities Act. The workshop will be held at the
Holiday Inn Grand Montana from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Registration is not
required, and there is no admission fee to attend the event.
Leino, who worked for the National Labor Relations Board prior to joining
the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, is an expert on disabilities
and sexual harassment prevention.
The workshop is being held as part of the Montana Department of Labor and
Industry’s commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Montana Human Rights
Act, and the 40th anniversary of Title VII of the federal Civil Rights Act.
The Billings Job Service Employers’ Committee is co-sponsoring the event.
