On Friday, June 24, 2005 City Club Missoula features John Wall, Secretary, Palmerston North, New Zealand Sister City Committee.

Missoula & Palmerston North have been Sister Cities since 1981. John will discuss the history and potential for this important Sister City relationship. The program is administered for the City of Missoula by the Missoula Cultural Council.

The City Club Missoula Forum will be held in the Governors’ Room at the Florence Building (North Higgens Avenue and West Front Street) from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost of the June Forum is $13.00. The cost for those who do not want lunch is $5.00. Coffee, tea and dessert are provided for all.

City Club Missoula Forums are open to everyone in the greater Missoula area. If you would like to attend the Forum, please RSVP by Tuesday, June 21, 2005 by email to [email protected] or to Jim Crocker at 728-5279. Please indicate if you will, or will not, be having lunch. Payment (check or cash) will be received at the door on Friday, May 27.

City Club Missoula is a nonprofit organization with the mission of bringing together people to inform and inspire citizens on issues vital to the Missoula area community through public forums that encourage the discussion of new ideas and free exchange of thoughts. City Club Missoula welcomes everyone in the greater Missoula community to come to the Forums and participate in the discussions. Recent City Club Missoula Forums have featured Local Government Study Commissions, State officials discussing Milltown Dam removal plans, and a community planning process for a central park.
