Contact: RSVP(required) by 3/17 [email protected] or 406-546-6643

Join in a community dialogue about electric power distribution to Montana communities. Learn what costs are involved, what potential sources of power are available, what the potential economic impacts could be on Montana ratepayers, as well as related pricing issues.

Participants:

• Doug Mood, Montana Public Service Commission, moderator

• David G. Gates, Vice President, Wholesale Operations, NorthWestern Energy

• Mike Kadas, former mayor of Missoula, Chairman and Board Member, MPPI (Montana Public Power, Inc)

• Thomas Michael Power, Chairman, Economics Department, University of Montana

• Garry R. Thompson, Eastern Power Business Area Manager, Bonneville Power Administration

Table discussions will follow panelists’ brief presentations about current power distribution and options for the future. Panelists and the moderator will then respond to questions from the tables. Although the March forum is scheduled to run until 1:30 p.m., it is understood that some attending may need to leave at 1 p.m.

Reservations for the March 17 City Club Forum can be made by email to [email protected] or calling 406-546-6643 on or before Monday, March 13. Please indicate if you want lunch ($10 for members, $15 for nonmembers) or the no-lunch option of forum, dessert and beverage for $5.

City Club Missoula Forums are open to everyone; reservations required.
