Job Description

Great Northern Development Corporation (GNDC) of northeast Montana, with funding in part through NoKidHungry and Eastern Plains Economic Development Corporation, and in collaboration with the Montana Food and Ag Development Center, is soliciting proposals to conduct a regional food study to examine the current food system (identify opportunities and weaknesses) to promote and support equitable access to food in northeast Montana including the Fort Peck Reservation. The study will recognize current challenges & provide areas of improvement with realistic solutions to be implemented. Counties that will be assessed for this study are Garfield, McCone, Valley, Daniels, Sheridan, Roosevelt, Dawson, Prairie, Wibaux, and Carter. The agreement and payment terms will be negotiated with the selected consultant. The Regional Food Study is not to exceed $35,000. Project completion to be no later than November 15, 2021.

 

 

 

The solicitation is being offered in accordance with federal and state statutes governing procurement of professional services. Accordingly, GNDC reserves the right to negotiate an agreement based on fair and reasonable compensation for the scope of work and services proposed, as well as the right to reject all responses deemed unqualified, unsatisfactory, or inappropriate.

Copies of the detailed request of proposals (RFP), including a description of the services to be provided by respondents, the minimum content responses, and the factors to be used to evaluate the respondents, can be obtained by contacting Hailey Vine, Great Northern Development Corporation, via email [email protected] or phone at 406-653-2590 ext. 201. All responses must be received in one pdf file no later than 5:00 pm on Thursday, July 15, 2021. Please state “Regional Food Study” as the subject line of the email.
