Horse to Human – The Next Generation in Horsemanship – 9/5-7 – The Montana Center for Horsemanship in Dillon, Montana
Horse to Human – the Next Generation in Horsemanship, in partnership with Montana Western and EQUUS International Film Festival, will bring Nick Dowers, Bryan Neubert and Joe Wolter together for three days of clinics, including Horsemanship and Cow Working. Participants with horses can apply to be in each three-day class but auditing is open to all.

University of Montana Center for Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics Core Facility Open House – Friday afternoon September 6 – Missoula
The CBSD core facilities provide instrumentation for protein production and purification, structure determination by X-ray and electron diffraction methods, high-resolution fluorescence imaging, mass spectrometry and proteomics, and computer-aided drug discovery. They are staffed by PhD level scientists who can assist with experimental design and implementation to meet your research and development needs.

This event is FREE for businesses/organizations to participate as well as FREE for the community to attend. The 1-mile route through the University District will include activities for all ages and abilities, local food trucks and nearby café options located along the route, fitness classes at Bonner Park, and the opportunity to meet with friends and neighbors to enjoy part of the neighborhood, normally only used/occupied by vehicles.

Rural volunteer leaders invited to participate in community development gathering Sept. 17-18 in Miles City
The event, called “The Road Show,” will bring experts in rural resources to facilitate connections and knowledge sharing with Montana’s small-town leaders. It also features speakers from rural communities who will share successes, opportunities and resources available from regional and state agencies and nonprofits. The Reimagining Rural program, an initiative from Montana State University Extension, and the Montana Department of Commerce’s Montana Main Street Program are co-hosting the event.
