University of Wyoming Entrepreneurship Summit Expands to Two Days of Support, Training
The University of Wyoming College of Business will host the third annual UW Entrepreneurship Summit April 17-18 at the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center.
With efforts throughout the state to increase economic diversity, the College of Business has expanded the event to offer professional development workshops to educators, and also entrepreneur and ecosystems sessions. The annual John P. Ellbogen $50K Entrepreneurship Competition also will be held during the summit. The competition encourages students to act on their talents, ideas and energy to produce tomorrow’s leading businesses.
Featured speakers for the summit include UW President Laurie Nichols, College of Business Dean David Sprott, Wyoming Business Council CEO Shawn Reese and keynote speaker Christopher Gray, founder and CEO of Scholly Inc.
Participants on the summit’s second day will experience elements within the entrepreneur and ecosystem tracks. Workshops and panels to help entrepreneurs understand the resources available and also provide an opportunity for those resources to better clarify the needs of entrepreneurs across the state will be available.
