“Understanding Government Contracting” – June 1 – Online and in Butte

June 1 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

The U.S. government is the largest consumer of products and services in the world, spending billions of dollars each year on everything from office furniture and airplanes to janitorial work and computer repair services. The government requires that at least 23 percent of all federal purchases be fulfilled by small businesses. Did you know that over 1.92 million in government contracts were awarded in Montana over the last 4 months? That doesn’t include State and local contracts. Governmental agencies buy everything from nuts (the nutritional kind) to bolts and any type of service you can name. If you want to check into how your business can get a “piece of the pie”. Join Lynnette Hale, Government Contract Advisor and the Headwaters RC&D Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) for this introduction to selling your products and services to the government.
