Purpose:

Reel Montana Nights is a fundraising event to support Montana’s flourishing film and music industry. The Media Training Center is a 501C3 fiscally sponsored organization dedicated to training and advancing Media Manufacturing in Montana. It supports the Montana Youth Education Program, which aims to introduce Production Assistant and Introduction to Stagehand courses in high schools across the state.

We will build on our already successful program with over 150 graduates that have worked on the tv shows Yellowstone/1923 and the live music events of Pink and Pearl Jam. These courses equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue careers in the film and music industry, fostering the next generation of Montana filmmakers/music workforce. The Flathead Valley has multiple films and music events for the upcoming 2025 season and we want to train High Schools, Tribal Students, and Community members for these job opportunities. This is a proven workforce success story for Montana.

Reel Montana Nights will also introduce the Montana Media Coalition, an organization dedicated to advancing media manufacturing in Montana. By supporting this coalition, you are playing a crucial role in securing the future of Montana’s film industry. The coalition’s efforts to increase tax incentives and attract more film and TV productions to our state will not only boost the local economy but also empower Montanans to tell their own stories through film.
