| Bozeman, Montana – Access to capital is a common challenge for business and community projects that need financing to turn their ideas into reality. Prospera is hosting its first Community Impact Investing Workshop on October 3rd in Bozeman to gather experts from around the state to spotlight financing innovations being used in Montana. Paul Reichert, Prospera’s Executive Director stated, “This is an important topic gaining traction in Montana because small businesses and community projects need access to financing in creative ways. This workshop will bring together business leaders, foundations, and community organizations to explore how community impact investing works, and how we can build new capacity to get things done.” Affordable housing, non-profit organizations, small businesses can all use some form of financing – and this workshop will highlight success stories in Montana. The event will host guest speakers from the Montana Community Foundation, NeighborWorks, Goodworks, Homestake Ventures, and Prospera.
