At Montana BioAg, we work with naturally occurring fungi to develop products and applications for agriculture, forestry, and bioremediation. Montana BioAg does not sell anything; we license products and technology to established companies or spin out new start-ups. Since the company’s founding in 2008, we have developed products through multiple Phase I and II SBIR awards from the USDA, NSF, and NOAA, as well as research contracts with private companies. Current research is developing fungal biopesticides for bark beetles in sequoias, for insects and diseases in wheat, and for technology to remediate heavy metals in acid mine water.
