Governor’s Energy Task Force to host public open houses in Butte 2/25, Miles City 3/25 and Colstrip 4/15

The first of three events is scheduled for Feb. 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Copper Lounge on the campus of Montana Technological University in Butte. Additional open houses are planned for March 25 in Miles City and April 15 in Colstrip.
According to the governor’s office, the open house format will allow attendees to speak directly with task force members, ask questions and provide feedback on energy-related topics. There will be no formal presentations. Staff from state agencies will be available to discuss their regulatory roles tied to energy development.
