Join us for Economic Development Week!
A collaboration between local, state-wide, public, private, education, and government partners to educate and elevate Butte-Silver Bow’s economic growth through educational pieces of training and opportunities to connect with resources, employers, and workforce. Created by the International Economic Development Council in 2016, the goal of Economic Development Week (EDW) is to increase awareness for local programs that create jobs, advance career development opportunities and increase the quality of life in communities everywhere.
Join us for a conference call to learn about low- and no-cost training, counseling, loans and grants available to small businesses through the Montana Covid Relief Program, Food and Ag Program and the Headwaters Small Business Development Center.
Showing up when customers are searching online is more important than ever. Ensure customers can find accurate, updated information about your local business on Google Search and Google Maps, no matter which device they use. In this workshop, you will learn how to create and manage a Google business profile from start to finish.
In this session we’ll show you how to:
– Create or claim your Business Profile on Google
– Manage your business info across Google Search and Maps
– Use Google My Business to connect with potential customers
Our May Marketing Mondays classes are taught by the intrepid Miranda Gilbert of Girl Geek LLC (girlgeekllc.com).
No cost thanks to COVID Cares Act Funding. Our services are brought to you through a cooperative agreement between the Small Business Administration, the Montana Department of Commerce and our host Headwaters RC&D.
Zoom link will be emailed out the day prior to the workshop from [email protected]. You may have to look in your junk/spam folder to find it. If you have any questions/concerns, call/text Melissa at 907.529.5332.
A great company culture is no longer just a nice-to-have—it’s essential to building a workplace that your current and potential employees want to be a part of. The workplace is different today from what it once was—employees are no longer willing to live the 9-5 “cubicle lifestyle” that has been the standard for so long.
One of the first steps to building a great company culture is knowing what values you would like to instill and how you would describe your organization’s identity. Join Julie Jaksha Headwaters Regional Director/Regional SBDC Director to Unleash the potential of your people and learn how to build a strong company culture in your small business.
Are you looking for access to capital to help fund your next business idea, building, or expand your current business? Join this training to hear about local, state, and federal programs and that will give you a thorough breakdown of financial resources and opportunities to help achieve success for your business.
An informative call by the Butte-Silver Bow Economic Development Team that will provide an economic update in Butte-Silver Bow as well as what the community can expect for the future policies and programs explicitly directed at improving the business climate through specific efforts, business finance, marketing, neighborhood development, business retention and expansion, and others.
