Big Sky Passenger Rail Authority Board Meeting Friday, Feb. 5, 2021 – 9 to 11 a.m. – Online

February 5 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

By statute, Amtrak wields a hammer that no other public or private entity does in that they and they alone can demand priority on the freight rail system (even if they haven’t fully exercised that right in the past). All indications are positive that Congress might also authorize the creation of additional multi-state rail commissions, which will broaden our regional goals and capacity for interstate collaboration beyond what the Big Sky Passenger Rail Authority can accomplish on its own.
