4th Annual Government Contracting Matchmaking Event -Business Support Expo – 11/20 – Bozeman
November 20 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pmFree
This free event, which is now in its fourth year, is two events in one: The business support expo is an open house where you can meet with representatives of organizations that provide free and low-cost business assistance. The matchmaking portion of the event is a rare opportunity (in Montana, anyway) to meet with procurement personnel from federal, state and local government agencies to find out if they buy what you sell. Put it all together, and this is an excellent opportunity to grow your business through government contracts, grants, loans and exporting.
The Montana Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), which provides personal, timely advice on contracting with the government, has taken over as the host of the event this year, and we are committed to growing the government matchmaking portion of the event. If you have attended The Montana PTAC’s flagship GovMatch events in Billings in the past, this will not be as big as that. This event is smaller and focused on matching up government buyers and sellers in Southwest Montana. Past participants have included the National Park Service, the U.S. Forest Service, USDA Rural Development, the State Procurement Bureau, Montana State University Procurement Services, and the City of Bozeman, among others.
If you’ve never been to a government matchmaking event before, and you don’t know what to expect, please read the article, “Matchmakers: Bringing Small Businesses and Government Buyers Together” at https://www.aptac-us.org/matchmakers-bringing-small-businesses-government-buyers-together/.
