As Montana State University kicks off its 125th anniversary, the Montana Manufacturing Extension Center is celebrating more than two decades of helping the state's manufacturers grow and innovate.

The 125th anniversary activities in February will highlight MSU's Norm Asbjornson College of Engineering, which has housed MMEC since the outreach service was established in 1996 as a way to apply MSU's technical expertise to supporting Montana's manufacturing industry.

"MSU's engineering college is well-known and respected throughout Montana," said Paddy Fleming, MMEC's director. "It gives us a set of resources that we can call on when helping our clients."
